CytoChip Focus

CytoChip Focus has been specifically developed for applications where the amount of starting material falls below that required for the CytoChip ISCA but where the costs, quality or timescales associated with whole genome amplification or cell culturing are unacceptable.

Working from as little as 50 ng of unamplified DNA the CytoChip Focus combines tiling of 143 OMIM genes with a whole genome screen. High sensitivity combined with advanced data analysis enables CytoChip Focus to detect large scale imbalances in clonal cells, down to 10%, in order to screen multiple cell populations in one low cost and automated assay.

Complementary BlueFuse software licenses deliver fully automated array processing, including the ability to configure the software so that only larger regions, of known significance, are identified.  All results are stored in a powerful multiuser SQL database which supports the key workflow activities of quality control, reporting and signoff.
